Yesterday, I took a friend's maternity and family pictures at Delt Church Park.

Delt Church Park Hike

Good evening (or good night)! :)

This morning, we went to Delt Church Park for a picnic with some friends. Afterward, we walked the trail all the way around the park.

Here are some of the pictures I got.

 All of the children sat on rocks and dangled their feet in the water. The water was really high today after all the rain we've had.

 Dandelion picking. :)

 Hadassah made her way a little to close to the water and slipped on some mud. She got her feet wet, so Lilly helped her roll up her pant-legs.

 Two Swallowtail wings we found on the trail.

After we had gotten back up to the playground, Lilly spotted a Snapping Turtle moving rather fast toward the pond that was on the other side of the wide grass path.

We all ran down to look at it and found that it was a pretty big one. The boys especially liked watching it go into the pond and disappear into the water. :)

After we got back home from the park, we went to the garden and planted tomatoes and potatoes. It started to rain a little bit while we were out there, but it eventually quit, and we continued working. We finished two or three rows (I can't remember how many we did) and then had hot dogs and s'mores for supper.

It was such a beautiful day to be outside. I am so glad we got to go to the park with our friends. :) It was a great day!

Benaiah's Birthday Pictures

Today, Benaiah turned eight years old!

I took these pictures a few days ago, while it was nice out (It's raining here today). Of course, he wanted to wear his cowboy hat. :)

He just randomly started doing a little dance with a weird look on his face....

I had a good time taking Benaiah's pictures. It was a perfect day, with little shadows, but a very nice sun for sun flares. :) He spent the whole week asking me when I was going to take his pictures. I finally took them after he had begged me the whole day (these were taken in the evening). I think they turned out really good. :) Hope you enjoyed looking at them!
