Day 6- Morning Beach Day

Our morning started at around 7:30. We got up and went to Caspersen Beach to fish, and shark tooth hunt. It was very cold down by the water, so everyone wore pants and sweatshirts,

Benaiah got put in charge of the pole again. :) He had such a good time.

Since it was low tide, we could get to the little jetties that would be almost covered with water by evening. Dad looked for starfish, but didn't find any.

The view was beautiful this morning. Being so windy out, there were lots of big waves. It was fun to look out and see how big they could get.

Saphira stayed and snuggled with Dad the whole time, because she was so cold.

Shells left up on the beach from the low tide.

Some more jetties uncovered from the low tide.

Benaiah trying different fishing spots and trying not to get wet. :)

I thought this moss covered rock was neat looking. It looks like it's covered with hair.

Dad and Saphira explored the uncovered jetties, and I tagged along to get photos.

Shoe prints in the sand (Because it was way to cold for bare feet).

Since no one wanted to get into the water to get the shark teeth from Grandpa, he brought the sifters up on the beach and left them on the shore in rows for us to go through.

Josiah carved a seat in this mound of sand and reclined in it. Hadassah sat on top of him and watched everyone run around to stay warm.

After we got home, I took a nap and when I woke up, I cleaned up my room and waited for grandpa's cousins to come for dinner. We had grilled chicken, steak, baked potatoes, and a few different salads. It was delicious!
Blessings!
