Day 7- Pier Sunset and Fishing

At the beginning of the day, we didn't think we were going to go anywhere. After breakfast, however, we walked to an aquarium and pet shop behind our house. They had lots of different kinds of saltwater and freshwater fish. There were some tiny puffer fish. They were really cute. :) They even had some eels. One of the eels was HUGE! I would not want to have an eel as my pet.....
For supper, we decided to go to Snook Haven, a restaurant that Grandma and Grandpa wanted to take us.
After we ate, we headed to the Venice pier to fish. The sun was just starting to go down, so I got some good pictures of the sunset.

Here's the pier from the beach. The sun was right over the end of the pier, making it look really neat.

Hadassah was snuggled most of the time because it was so cold, but when we first got there, she got put down so people could get their poles baited.

We walked up the pier and picked a spot to start fishing. Grandpa, Benaiah, and Grandma got poles. Benaiah was the first to get a bite. He reeled in a flounder, but just when he lifted it from the water, it got away. He was very disappointed.

It was a little chilly out, so everyone except Grandpa, Grandma, Josiah, and Benaiah came home. I ate two cupcakes (which I shouldn't have, but they were so good), and started editing my pictures. Soon, everyone else came back and helped themselves to the root beer float materials. :) Now they are watching college basketball while eating their floats. It was a good day.
Blessings!
